about ME
I’ll never forget how I got hooked on shooting weddings! It was New Years Eve of 2014, I decided to make a wedding film for a friend of mine as a wedding gift. I loved being a part of my friends’ big day. I mean how awesome is it to get to experience one of the best days of a person’s life, time and time again! That’s what I get to do as a wedding filmmaker and I LOVE IT! I have always been nostalgic at heart so I totally get how important it is to capture memorable moments. In our lives, our memories fade but now our wedding day doesn’t have to be a fading memory. Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way! My wife and I were married back in 2003 and our wedding was just a camera on a tripod during the ceremony but it was still a memory I never wanted to lose. Oh and did I mention it was filmed on TAPE? One anniversary My wife Sarah and I were going to watch our wedding video, I wouldn’t call it a film lol. Anyways, when we went to get the tapes out to have them converted to dvd disaster struck. We were told our tapes had moisture damage and were unsalvageable…. needless to say, we were super bummed that we would not be able to look back on our big day again! I know sad right...
I think that is one of the reasons I have such a passion for making wedding films. I want people to have an amazing keepsake they can pull out and watch over and over again!
